Event: PowerShares QQQ 300
Date: Saturday, Feb. 17
Start Time: 2:30 p.m. ET
TV Channel: FS1

The trucks kicked off Daytona 500 weekend Friday night, and we’ll get one step closer to the Great American Race with the PowerShares QQQ 300 on Saturday afternoon. While it’s not likely to be quite the battle of attrition that happened under the lights, it’s still a race that’s going to be unpredictable and quite possibly a lot of fun.

Along with the perennial uncertainties of restrictor plate racing, there’s something of a changing of the guard in the XFINITY Series as a whole. Last year’s champion, William Byron, has moved up to the Cup Series, and interestingly, he won’t be one of the drivers doing double duty this weekend. But a handful of Cup Series drivers will take part in the race, including Joey Logano, Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott, who all figure to be big factors.

9:30 a.m.: Fox Sports 1, NASCAR Xfinity Series, PowerShares QQQ 300, qualifying, at Daytona Beach, Fla.

Noon: Fox Sports 1, NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series, Daytona 500, final practice, at Daytona Beach, Fla.

2:30 p.m.: Fox Sports 1, NASCAR Xfinity Series, PowerShares QQQ 300, at Daytona Beach, Fla. (prerace show at 2 p.m.)

Tyler Reddick ran the fastest Xfinity practice time at 196.190 mph. Hinckley, Ohio native Matt Tifft had the eighth-fastest time in the first practice session at 193.282.

The final practice for Sunday’s Daytona 500 is today at 12:05 p.m. on FS1. The race is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday on FOX, with live streaming on FOX Sports Go.

Christopher Bell should be as well, as he moves up after winning the Truck Series title in 2017. And veterans like Elliott Sadler, Justin Allgaier and last year’s race winner, Ryan Reed, could all be in the mix for a win as well.

Winter Olympics 2018: Figure Skating

The 2018 Winter Olympics continues to chug along, with figure skating remaining a prominent staple on the schedule over the next week.

A total of six figure skating events will take place over the next seven days, including four medal events. The women’s free skate has the main-event slot on Feb. 23, but there is no shortage of competition to focus on until that date.

After a night full of disappointment in alpine skiing and figure skating, the United States is hoping Lindsey Vonn can help it recover in the 2018 Winter Olympics medal count.

The Americans were supposed to take home gold in the women’s slalom through Mikaela Shiffrin and set themselves for a high-podium finish in men’s figure skating by way of Nathan Chen on Thursday, but both athletes suffered disappointing performances.

Seventeenth. That’s definitely not where American figure skater Nathan Chen expected to be at the 2018 Winter Olympics after Friday’s men’s short program in South Korea.

Chen, the two-time United States champion who entered his first Olympics with so much hype, followed up a rough showing in the team competition with an even rougher outing on Thursday night’s primetime NBC broadcast. He missed on all of his jumps and looked tentative, finishing 17th.

However, there’s a lot of figure skating left, and whether it’s men’s, women’s or pairs, there’s no question that everyone wants to make an impression. Rippon, Chen and Nagasu are leading the way for Team USA, and expect some crazy routines moving forward. Team USA has already made an impression. But now it’s every skater (or pair of skaters) for themselves.

The defending Olympic gold medalist, Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan, was the big star of the short program, winning with an Olympic-record 111.68 points. Spain’s Javier

The 2018 Winter Olympic Games are being held in South Korea for the first time in three decades and have officially begun. The opening ceremony kicked off at 8:00 p.m. local time in Pyeongchang, which equates to 6:00 a.m. EST. For the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, NBC and its cable networks will cover popular sports such as figure skating and skiing. Because of the 14-hour time difference, not every Olympic event will be broadcast live. For that, you need to watch an online stream.

In addition to NBC’s over-the-air network, the sports network NBCSN will be the main overflow channel, carrying events such as biathlon, bobsled and luge. Coverage on CNBC and USA Network will be limited to curling and ice hockey. The Olympic Channel will have medal ceremonies, news and highlights, but not event coverage. All four of these cable channels will also be streamed online.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Chicago Blackhawks

The struggling Chicago Blackhawks (24-24-8) will try to avoid a sweep against the Vegas Golden Knights (36-15-4) and snap a six-game losing streak Tuesday when they visit T-Mobile Arena as big road underdogs.

The Blackhawks lost 4-2 at Vegas on October 24, and they will be playing back-to-back nights after falling 6-1 to the Arizona Coyotes on Monday.

Chicago will break its skid at some point and still has offensive firepower as long as Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews lace up their skates.

Coming off a brutal loss at Arizona in the second game of a three-game road trip, the Blackhawks should be primed to bounce back in this spot, especially since they have won two of their last three under this scenario in the second game of a back-to-back.

The last time they played in a back-to-back situation, they beat the Detroit Red Wings 5-1 on the road.

The Golden Knights have beaten Chicago twice and should be more than ready to rebound as well following a 4-1 home loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday after a six-game road trip.

Vegas looked tired versus Philadelphia and traveled more than 7,000 miles during their trip, still going 4-2, with all four wins coming as underdogs, according to the

Who could have thought going into this season that Chicago would be a good bet to miss the playoffs for the first time in 10 years while Vegas would be a near-lock to make the postseason in its inaugural campaign.

But that is where we are at this point of the season, and the nightmares for the Blackhawks have continued on their current trip.

If your eyes have made it here, your eyes have made it to the right place. We’ve got you covered for the 2018 Olympics with all the questions you have, all the questions you think you have and all the questions you should have entering the Winter Games:

Olympic schedule is all about the pageantry of the opening ceremony, which will take place early in the morning in the Eastern time zone.

As Americans gear up to watch the replay of the opening ceremony in primetime, a few competitions will take place, including the first snowboarding event of the Olympics.

While Friday doesn’t have the normal packed schedule because of the opening ceremony, there’s still a set of curling matches and a chance for American snowboarders to defend a medal that a compatriot won four years ago.

The Olympic movement has taken a deserved mauling over the past year, with various corruption scandals ongoing and the reaction to Russian doping seen as desperately weak. But getting a combined Korean women’s ice hockey team to compete is a bona fide triumph.

True, there have been teething problems – the North Koreans use different terms for pass and block, for instance – and the team are likely to lose all three of their matches, starting against Switzerland on Saturday. But after 70 years of tensions, why fret about the small stuff? Incidentally 10 other North Korean athletes will compete under their country’s own flag.

Super Bowl Parade 2018 Live

Super Bowl Parade 2018

Get ready for an all-day party on Thursday, Philadelphia. The Eagles are Super Bowl champions, which means you all get to enjoy a victory parade. The team has set a date, place, and time for the festivities.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, Feb. 8. The players, staff, and families will travel a route starting at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue and concluding at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

There is a little something for everyone in Philadelphia’s enormous parade celebrating the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory. A crowd of possibly two million fans was being anticipated and fans began lining the streets Wednesday evening for the 11 a.m. start at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, followed by a 1 p.m. ceremony on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Early on, the problem was the Eagles themselves, with players, Coach Doug Pederson and vice president Howie Roseman hopping off at Broad and Pattison and Philly police radio carrying the message: “Car 14, advise those players to get back on the bus. Make them understand if they do this in City Center, we’re going to lose everything.” As the procession went along, officers continued to complain on the police scanner that players were hopping off the bus.

This is, of course, Philadelphia’s first Super Bowl parade, though it is not the city’s first championship. The last time a Philly team won was in 2008, when the Phillies defeated the Tampa Bay Rays to win the World Series. Since the last time the Eagles won a title (1960, which pre-dates the Super Bowl era), the Phillies and 76ers have won two championships, while the Flyers have won three. It took 58 years for the city’s football team to re-climb the mountain; and because it did, Thursday is sure to get wild.

2018 Super Bowl LII Free, Super Bowl 2018 Live Stream Online,Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are attempting to capture their sixth Super Bowl title and third in the last four years when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 52 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

This is the eighth Super Bowl since the 2001 season that has featured Brady, Bill Belichick and the Patriots. Another win would give Brady the most Super Bowl rings of any player in the history of the NFL. He’s currently tied at five with Charles Haley.

For the Eagles, this would be their first Super Bowl victory. Their most recent appearance in the Super Bowl was against these same Patriots back in 2004, a game they lost by a narrow margin.

This time, the Eagles will be attempting to take down the Patriots with Nick Foles at quarterback. The backup took over after Carson Wentz went down with a season-ending knee injury before the playoffs.

Otherwise, both teams are coming into the game relatively healthy. Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been cleared to play after he suffered a concussion during the AFC Championship Game. A few players on each team battled illness during the week leading up to the game but appear good to go. Brady, who played with stitches in his thumb in the AFC Championship Game, should have no limitations in this one.

Once upon a time, the Patriots beat the Eagles in a Super Bowl. The city of Philadelphia has been waiting 13 years to get its revenge. On Sunday, that chance is finally here.

The Patriots, won Super Bowl XXXIX, 20-17, but the game wasn’t really that close. On Sunday, with the Lombardi Trophy again on the line, they’ll face off beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.

After opening as 5.5-point favorites (and some sportsbooks had them as high as 6) following Conference Championship Sunday, the Patriots are no longer quite that revered by Vegas books. Some heavy action on the Eagles shifted the line to 4.5 by late last week, and by Monday, some Vegas sportsbooks started offering Patriots -4. But that’s where it has stayed ever since.
